Aldermiller Optical is an online-only retailer. We do not operate a physical retail location.
We ship prescription eyewear to all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Every order is fulfilled from our optical lab partners and delivered directly to your door.
Our Tacoma Roots
Aldermiller was founded in Tacoma, Washington, and every pair of glasses we ship
still passes through our home city before it reaches you. While our frames come
from an experienced overseas manufacturing partner, every lens is edged and
mounted by a skilled optical lab right here in Tacoma — not an overseas facility,
not an automated warehouse three time zones away.
We're proud to be a Washington-based company, and proud to support local jobs
in the optical trade here in the South Sound. If you're in the Tacoma area and
have questions about your order, our team is just a short drive from Pacific
Avenue — even though every order ships to your door rather than a storefront.

Need an Eye Exam?
We don't perform eye exams, but your local optometrist can provide a current prescription and pupillary distance (PD) measurement — everything you need to order from us. If you're unsure where to start, most vision insurance plans cover an annual exam, and many independent optometrists in Washington State accept walk-in appointments.
